The SAMPAN 36 HOUSEBOAT is a simple, pragmatic floating home suitable for a couple with a child. It is self-contained and intended for use in a marina or at anchor. It may employ an outboard motor, or simply be towed to a semi-permanent mooring.

An oceangoing V-bottomed auxiliary with accommodations for four to six people.

Construction: Carvel planked over sawn frames.

Alternative construction: Plywood (plans included).

Lofting is required.
