I originally designed this kayak for a customer with a lake house in Wisconsin. He is a fit, athletic guy with almost no experience in a kayak. He wanted something he felt comfortable in, yet which would move along nicely.
My client wanted to circumnavigate, Cape Horn and all! He wished to build the boat himself and had limited skills in boatbuilding, limits on his budget, and a space about the size of a double garage.
A series of Catamaran Houseboats/canal boats has been designed with electric propulsion.
