The Lobster Boat 26 (LB26) is a plan for amateur builders like no other!

Schooner-yacht designed by George Steers and launched in 1851, the first winner of what has come to be known as the AMERICA’s Cup.

Meghan has a constant deadrise V-bottom hull with  a capacity of 1-2 passengers and features for & aft flotation chambers. Her rig consists of a 16ft free standing mast, 9′5″ wishbone boom and 65 square ft sail.

Construction - Glue-lap-plywood flat bottom.

Alternative construction - Traditional plank.

Sail Area - Sprit 60 sq. ft.
