Attention Amateur and Professional Boat Builders!Bayside Marine Design has stock electrical plans for your boat project. All of the information and schematics you need to wire a new boat or re-wire an existing boat are in the package.

The idea behind this design was to see how much boat can be squeezed out of a single sheet of plywood 4x8′ (1220 x 2440mm). The resulting boat is suitable for kids to paddle on ponds or very small lakes.

Sea Otter was designed for an adult night school class I was teaching in boat building, in which nine boats were built at one time. Actually the principles of construction used in Sea Otter are the same as used in many of our larger designs.

Fast trailerable coastal cruiser

Capacious, seaworthy, flat-bottomed skiff weighing less than 150 lbs. Construction: Cross-planked bottom, lapstrake sides. No lofting is required. Plans include 5 sheets.

The TRICKY FIVE has been conceived for a precise scope: to realize a boat, which in relation to its size would maximize the ratio between speed and cost. This means that for a determined cost for materials and hours of construction required, it would be the fastest possible.
