We have been totally inspired by the traditional, beautiful and extraordinarily functional Senegalese pirogues for the design of the hulls of the SIRENE DU SALOUM.

This retro styled powerboat was designed for weekend cruisers and fishing, her semi displacement hull offer seaworthy and sea kindly performance, good speeds with modest horsepowers.

Beamier, but no less elegant than the Wee Rob, this more stable double-paddle canoe can carry sail better.Any of the three lengths (13′ 6″, 15′ 8″, or 17′ 3″) can be built using the same plans.You’ll notice the different stem patterns on plans page 5...

Everyone from Louisiana seems to remember that cypress pirogue boat Pawpaw kept in his barn. Cypress pirogues have since become a relic of the past. Pirogues are flat bottom boats designed to paddle shallow swamps and marshes.

Our Trawler 28 is a sturdy offshore trawler with a straight shaft inboard diesel. This makes the TW28 an ideal boat for a couple to live aboard or for a crew of 4 on vacation.

Simon found an older version of this boat back in the eighties and realized that its thousand-year-old design could be copied and preserved without too much difficulty. He measured it out in ’89 and Bill Nielsen lofted it and drew up the plans in ’91.

Fine boatyard skiff or small harbor ferry. Construction is plywood planking over bulkheads. Lofting is required. Plans include 5 sheets

The Hanze Yawl was designed some years ago during a course on lofting at the Bootbouwschool in the Netherlands.Bert van Baar, the owner of the school was very pleased about a Swedish design he had build previously in a project on the streets of Old Amsterdam.
