1920s New England Boatworks Cat Sailing Dinghy

This is a unique and well built sailing dinghy. It was my grandfather's dinghy he had in the Adirondacks. He purchased it new from the New England Boatworks in Mianus, CT, who are known for their construction of launches, and sailed it near Saranac Lake,. After he passed it was held by my uncle in Minerva, NY at a family camp, where it was regularly sailed until about 8 years ago. The boat is about 12' long, about 5' wide, and has a centerboard and barn door rudder. The rigging and bowsprit have been changed, the mast will need to have about a foot scarfed onto its bottom as it rotted, and the sails will need to be repaired or replaced. It comes with a Load Rite galvanized trailer. The boat and trailer are in excellent and well maintained condition. With the mast and sail work mentioned above, and once the hull has swelled, it will be very capable of sailing again.
