1932 Marblehead 34’ Trunk Cabin Cruiser “Clara Hayes” Ready for Restoration; A Perfect Summer/Winter Project

Beautiful lines of teak and mahogany—evocative of the style in vogue during the 1930s, grace this rare example of a Marblehead wooden motor yacht built by the Marblehead Boat Yard Co. of Biddeford, Maine. “CLARA HAYES” has been in constant, protected drydock storage for the past 32 years on Long Island’s Great South Bay. Owner’s family began a restoration in 1990s and 2000s, but is not able to move forward, and therefore reluctantly seeking new, restoration-minded owner. Palmer V8 gasoline engine.
