Mahogany planked on oiled oak frames. Spruce spars and stainless rigging. Egyptian cotton main and jib. A fin keel fractional sloop. LOA 26.5 LWL 17.25 Beam 6 ft. 4.5 ft max. draft. Designed by Fred W. Goeller and built by the Quincy Adams Yacht Yard this design was chosen by the Fishers Island Yacht Club as their first postwar class and gets a mention in John Rousmaniere’s “Sailing at Fishers: a History of the FIshers Island Yacht Club”. Of the 30 original hulls only 3 are thought to have survived. Their part in history is documented at the New York Yacht Club with a half model in the trophy room. Last soaking was 2020 but has for the last 25 years spent Upstate, NY winters in a boat shed with a gravel floor. Comes with a custom built Triad trailer circa 1999 which will need going over for long distance hauling. A 2017 survey is available as is an earlier 1999 survey.
