1972 Custom Sedan Cruiser

Raven is an exceptionally built and meticulously maintained vessel owned by an accomplished Northwest naval architect and small boat builder. Perennially featured in Port Townsend’s Wooden Boat Show, her classic lines and clean, rugged appearance turns heads while offering a very accommodating cruising experience. She is a highly capable boat for day cruising, fishing, crabbing, weekend getaways, and longer trips, given her sturdy construction and seaworthy characteristics.

Raven is a hard chine, full keel design, providing a fully protected propeller aperture as well as a massive bronze rudder lower bearing support. These features result in excellent roll damping in a seaway for a comfortable ride. She is planked with 1-1/4” Oregon Cedar and framed with 2-3/4” x 1-1/2” Oak on 14” centers.

Raven has all the expected modern conveniences, including large galley, 12V refrigerator, diesel stove/ cooktop, 2 burner propane range, marine head and 20 gallon holding tank, comfortable sleeping quarters, and an appropriate array of electronics for safe navigation.
