Pinaud 37 motor cruiser

Meraboire 1, one of the last known Pinaud motor yachts, is for sale. Walter Pinaud made his name working with Alexander Graham Bell on experimental hydrofoils in Baddeck, Nova Scotia and built Meraboire 1 there circa 1963. Constructed of mahogany, white oak and extraordinarily strong Cumaru (aka Brazilian teak), this 37 footer is exceptionally sound throughout. Previous owner restored her over several decades. She has been our floating cottage for four years but our retirement plans have changed. We are looking for someone who will love her as much as we do.
Powered by twin 1983 Perkins 50 Horsepower 4.108 marine diesels. One engine has a few hours’ use since refit, and other has 2,641 hours. Galley has two burner propane stove and oven, two sinks, fridge and freezer. Two bunks plus V-berth. Head with shower. Propane fireplace and BBQ. CQR anchor with Lewmar windlass. Winter storage paid. Boat comes with many, many extras.
Because there are a couple projects I didn't get to this summer, I am asking $70,000 CAD ($50,000 USD), with plans to adjust the price as I get more done.
