Designed by: John G. Alden (Naval Architect). Alden Design No. 618F is a 36 ft Cutter/Sloop, Full Keel with an After Cockpit. This classic was built in the yards of James E. Graves, Inc., Marblehead, MA and is powered by its original 55-hp Gray Marine gasoline engine.
Built in 1940 by Ira Hall in Seattle. Ed Monk design. 22' LOA and 20' on deck. 6.5' beam and 5' draft. Cedar planking over oak frames. Inboard diesel Yanmar 1gm10 motor runs good. Decent sails. Still has original wood stove. Two bunks. No known major issues.
Tegolin is a 26ft Maurice Griffiths 'Athene' design with triple keels and 3ft draft. Hull is larch on oak with epoxy sheathing. Engine is 16HP Vetus. Raymarine navigation, Taylor paraffin stove, full set of sails. 2-3 berths. Needs new mast. Currently in North Wales, UK.
