Gig Harbor BoatShop’s Family Boatbuilding Program at the historic Eddon Boatyard

Build your own boat in a weekend! Each group is assigned its own wooden boat expert who will guide your team every step of the way through the construction of a 12-foot, 90-pound Salt Bay Skiff. On Sunday, after a ceremonial launch and row on Gig Harbor Bay, the skiff will be yours to take home and enjoy forever. Each session spans a Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Upcoming dates include March 5-6, April 2-3, May 7-8 (sold out) and June 4-5. Children age 12 and older are welcome.
