SULA

Designed by Vancouver, BC naval architect John Brandlmayr, Sula was sold as a kit, which included yellow cedar sawn frames, stringers and backbone. She was built by amateur builder Robert Lockard in Seattle. Following some years cruising and chartering in the Pacific NW, Sula underwent an extensive (10-year) refit by Herb and Betty Weston, after which she was cruised to Alaska and New Zealand.
