Spirit of the Lake Regatta

The 2017 Spirit of the Lake Regatta marks the fifth year of rowing and paddling on Grand Lake to raise money for Colorado River Headwaters conservation efforts. Infinite West created this event to promote environmentally responsible use of the headwaters watersheds, as well as to increase awareness about where our water comes from, and where it goes.

The Spirit of the Lake is staged on Grand Lake (once known as Spirit Lake) at an elevation of 8,437 feet. Grand Lake is located in north-central Colorado at the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. This friendly, historic mountain town is known for its big heart, quirky sense of humor and fervent stewardship of the great Colorado River’s Headwaters. The town is on the edge of the largest natural lake in Colorado at the base of majestic Mount Craig, affectionately known as ‘Mt. Baldy’.
