Niam Rogers built this Chesapeake Light Craft kit with help from his grandfather, Dave Racicot. Niam created the patterns using strips of Western Red Cedar, Alaskan Yellow Cedar and Walnut. Niam will use the boat on protected waters in and around Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

This beautiful interpretation of Doug Hylan's 19' Big Ben Garvey is a one of a kind opportunity. It was built of high quality marine plywood and epoxy in 2011 by Geoff Kerr of Two Daughter's Boatworks and has been very lightly used. No expense was spared.
This beautiful Launch was originally believed to be built by Hinckley and was used as the yacht club launch for Stamford Yacht Club. Around 2017 the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, RI completed a total keel up restoration.
Begun in 2020 blissfully ignorant of rabbets, rabbet planes, and most things nautical, she took me four years of divine frustration from lofting to launch. Everything on her was ripped out and redone several times--so, by rights, she isn't the first boat I have built but at least the third.
