I built this cedar strip version of a CLC Annapolis Wherry over an 18 month period & about 1500 hours. Rather than buying the recommended “drop-in” rowing rigs I constructed my own assemblies in both the single & double configurations. The boat is a sweet & composed row!
“Talisa” is a Creek Indian word meaning “beautiful waters”. Designed specifically for shallow protected waterways, Talisa has been perfect for exploring the waters and backwaters of the St John’s River and springs of Central Florida.

Bill Walker built this semi-vee skiff starting in fall of 2014 and launching in May of 2016. After building nine other stitch and glue boats, Bill designed and built this skiff himself. It is constructed of meranti Bs-1088 plywood with select pine trim.

George Weinbrenner started construction on this Adirondack Guide Boat as part of a WoodenBoat school class in the summer of 2001. He feels very lucky to be able to have brought MOHICAN home and finish her out. He launched her in Lake George, NY in September 2002.
