David Schmidt and Michael Crisell built this 15'7" sharpie skiff, designed by Steve Redmond, under the watchful eye of James Younes in his boat shop in Suquamish, WA. They used okoume plywood, mahogany, and Western red cedar.

Scotty Pugh is proud of this 7′10″ dinghy, MADER, that he designed and built at his home in Sardis, Tennessee. He made the keel and stem from ash, the frames and seats from white pine, the mast and oars from spruce, and plywood for everything else.

This is my Egret launched in August of 2011.

My first boat to build (and first woodworking project in 50 years). Built to teach my grandsons sailing on lakes in Georgia and they seem to be taking to it. The CLC kit was straightforward, with just enough challenge to make you know you’re building a boat.

PAMELA ANNE is a John L. Hacker 'Flapper' design that was developed back in the 1920's. The plans were originally published in Motorboating magazine about that time.

Coot is a Paul Gartside designed 16′ open water rowing skiff (design #115). She is planked in strip plank western red cedar, glass cloth and WEST system epoxy.

Though he tells us right away that he is not a carpenter, Dave Hepler did a pretty good job on this Glen-L Runabout, LITTLE ADVENTURE. His daughter, Lauren, was his chief assitant, though her carpentry skills were not any better than his.
