Customized Solo PortageThe canoe was completed in 2013. The overall dimensions are of the Solo Portage scale with the modifications made by adding both an inner and outer stem in the bow and stern.The boat is designed as a single blade paddle canoe. The length is 14′6″.
Andre Cloutier took a course in March 2007 at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY with John Summers on how to build a 16/30 canoe. He took home the unfinished boat and continued working on it until the launch in early August 2007.
This Rangeley 17 built out of drawings from Newfound Woodworks. It differs in some details from the normal Rangeley 17. Due to where it will ber used we made a longer foredeck altered the sheerline a little and the transom has an arc shape not the flat as normal.
This boat project was chosen to work with my one owner 1972 Johnson 9.5 hp outboard.Turned out to be a perfect match. She runs at 10 miles per hour with outstanding stability. This was a plans built project from our friends at Chesapeake Light Craft.
DANA is a 6-meter yacht, built in 1927 by Morgan Giles, and recently restored and relaunched by Aleksander Celarek. Aleksander replaced DANA's keel, planking below the waterline, deck, and rig. She now sails in Poland.
During the winter of 2002-2003, Bruce Porter built this 13'9" x 58" flat-bottomed dory with help from Madison East High School Woodworking Students and staff. Launched in May 2003, SHARK will be used on Madison Wisconsin area lakes and rivers.
JUBY is a Shellback Dinghy made at WoodenBoat School and finished at home in North Carolina. It has won awards at the N.C Wooden Boat Show and the Cape Fear C.C Wooden Boat Shows. The Shellback can be sailed, rowed or sculled. It also makes for an excellent tender.
