Launchings

This sharpie was launched at Lake Wyvenhoe, Queensland, Australia. It was built by John Hockings over six months, and was inspired by Bill Schwicker's Egret and his 3 fathom sharpie.

The B&B Yacht Designs Two-Paw 8. The Two-Paw is a nesting pram, stitched-and-glued using Okoume, Sitka Spruce, Mahogany and Ash.

I built BJØRN AGAIN from plans and frame sections over 9 years of weekends and evenings.

Fiberglass cloth/epoxy and marine plywood on pine frame powered by 30hp Suzuki. During construction of interior we added mahogany rail caps and a front anchor locker with seat and hardware.

Annapolis Wherry

Mike Nichols and his son Christopher built this 13'6" speedboat. The plans were from Glen-L Marine and they used stitch and glue construction. They use it with a 50 hp mercury engine on Lake Champlain. After spending more than a year building the boat, they launched in the summer of 2001.

John Horst writes "I designed and built (actually just built) this 16' x 4' boat for rowing and fishing on Cabbage Creek and the ICW in Ponte Vedra, FL." He used 5/16" cypress planking over resorcinol-laminated ash frames.
