Roy Terwilliger acquired Snipe Class #3258 in 1972 and has spent several years restoring it. The boat was originally built in 1937 by Roger Gintling of Sparrows Point, Maryland, for a cost of $165.

I built the M-Yak 500 in summer 2020.
It is sleek and fast sit-on-top kayak for one or two paddlers that can easily built in stitch-and-glue.

Ken Swan estimated that it takes 60 hours to build this 13' Nez Perce Fishing Skiff, but it took Mike Fuller 600 hours.

This is my CLC Shearwater Sport Hybrid. Believe it or not this is the first thing that I have ever built from wood. It took me a little over 2 years to build. Built in an unheated building and working with epoxy in Buffalo gives you less that 6 months to work per year.

Craig Kitchen of Marquette, MI has built several boats in the past few years - Chesapeake 17, an Endeavor, a Guillemot, a Winisk 17, and a CLC 16LT  shown here. Craig built this 16LT with cedar-strip deck for Cheryl Sleeman of Michigan.

“Te Mata’i” was launched July 2021 on Tomahawk Lake in Woodruff, WI as the first retirement project of owner/builder Scott Joswiak. Starting as a Pro Kit in April 2020 and designed by John C. Harris of Chesapeake Light Craft, she is a modern version of a Tahitian Outrigger sailing canoe.

John and Jonathan Aitken built two Design 80 lapstrake prams using plans from Paul Gartside. The 7' boats are built using traditional methods and materials - red cedar and mahogany fastened to oak frames using copper roves and rivets.

MORNING WOOD is a Chester Yawl I built from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit (CLC). She was slow in the making as I acquired the Whitehall kit in 2007. The box followed me through several moves and I started working on her in 2014, a few hours here and there, schedule permitting.
