My first boat !
I started her late 2017 but in March 2018 I quit my job and worked on her every day.
Bruce Porter writes "Bruce Porter built this 13'2" x 50" Jimmy skiff with help from Madison East High School Woodworking Students and staff. Launched May 31st, 2002, the skiff will be used on Madison Wisconsin area lakes and rivers.
MORNING WOOD is a Chester Yawl I built from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit (CLC). She was slow in the making as I acquired the Whitehall kit in 2007. The box followed me through several moves and I started working on her in 2014, a few hours here and there, schedule permitting.
This design from CYD 4710 for Lorenzato’s family build from Cantiere Alto Adriatico. It’s very innovative in the layout and is the first of a series with this type for the same yard, with two separate cabins: one forward and one aft, with the dinette and living in the middle of the boat.

Richard Scarlet built this Shellback dinghy over several months at The Little Boat Shop in New Bedford, MA. Boat shop owner Steve Bussiere showed him how to make a few modifications and enhancements such as laminated mahogany hanging knees to Joel White's basic design.
Andrew German's grandfather built him this pontoon dory when he was just 4 years old. They launched ANDREW K. in August 2002. Andrew just fits in the boat, since it is only 4 feet in long. The boat is built of glassed 1/4" mahogany plywood with frames of Douglas fir.
