PRISCILLA C is a small steam launch based on a Stuart Turner 5 A single cylinder engine of 2 1/4" bore and 2" stroke. It produces about 1/2 HP at 30 PSI from a water tube, wood fired boiler.
Little Moby Skiff built by Tom Nolan and designed by Charles Wittholz. Okume plywood over sawn white oak frames. Added a small console for steering. Stainless steel fastenings and 50 hp Honda four stroke outboard.
I built this 15′ Wittholz Cat Boat in about 3 years with help from my wife and my teenage daughter. The boat is made of marine plywood over an oak frame. We enjoy sailing along the Hudson River, north of the Tappan Zee Bridge just about every weekend.
