Huntington Harbor
This Jeff Spira designed Huntington Harbor Kayak was launched at Westlakes, Adelaide, South Australia. It was built by Jeff Rabone in May 2012. The design was modified by double skinning the cockpit floor and adding a keel and some sacrificial timber to the bottom.
Cajun Pirogue
Uncle John’s General Store, (www.unclejohns.com), offers easy-to-build Cajun Pirogue kits. Peter Mallory of Amelia Island, Florida, built one of these kits making a 15′6″ model with a 31″ beam.

Xaadas Tluuwaay (People’s Canoe) is the result of two years of dedicated work by carver Gitijang Stormy Hamar of Kasaan, Alaska. Crafted from a single piece of western red cedar, the canoe follows the traditional style of the Haida people of the Pacific Northwest.

TIDAK APA-APA
Dale Edward Smith owns this lovely Penobscot 14, designed by Arch Davis, and built at the Andaman Boatyard in Thailand. The boat is gaff-rigged and weighs about 170 pounds. Dale uses TIDAK APA-APA at his home in Singapore.
SHELLBACK DINGHY
Dan Kelly of Weirton, WV, built this Joel White-designed Shellback dinghy in 2002. He modified the plans a little bit in using a titanium mast and titanium keel to keep her light. He also enclosed the area forward of the mast with cedar and filled it with foam insulation to add to her buoyancy.
