SHELBY is a 11'2" Shellback Dinghy built by Chris Ireland of Toronto, Canada. He built SHELBY over the winter of 2000-2001 and launched her into the Bay of Quinte at the eastern end of Lake Ontario in May 2001.
Rex and Kathie Payne of Spring Hill, Florida, just launched an 18′ No Man’s Land boat based on the plans that Howard Chapelle documented of an 1882 No Man’s Land boat built by Beetle, Inc., and published in his book, American Small Sailing Craft.
Carl Sylvester built this 15′3″ Gloucester Gull dory as an economy boat using fir marine plywood on pine frames. He fiberglassed bottom of the hull designed by Phil Bolger and Dynamite Payson.

Paul Newman of Melbourne, Australia, just built a Wood Duck 12 Kayak from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit. He spent about 12 months on the stitch-and-glue plywood construction. The finished 12' boat weighs just 40 lbs. Paul will paddle his Wood Duck on the many waterways of his state of Victoria.
