This design came about when I got to thinking about having an elegant dinghy for our 34′ Topsail Ketch Sunrise.
The Wood Duck 10 Hybrid combines the best qualities of stitch-and-glue plywood kayaks with the beauty of a cedar strip deck.

Ideal for fishing or as a tender for larger boats.
The main priorities which lie at the base of the DP 14' design are: simplicity of construction, user friendliness (for single or double crew) and good performance - all of this with reasonable costs.
ZEN is a very simple 10 Foot boat (www.diecipiedi.it) particularly narrow and therefore unstable. It is not the right boat for a beginner but, in the hands of a good helmsman, it may be fast.
Wantoo is a foldable and trailerable proa with accommodation for 2 or 3 sailors. It is minimum weight (700 kilo), minimum costs (€ 24.000,-), maximum speed and maximum fun to sail.
