Here is a fine little working type punt that feels at home in the marshlands, as well as the open bay waters.She is 14′-9″ long and was designed around a working load, with a draft of about 3″.
NEMAH features a stable, flat bottomed, sharpie type hull that can handle up to 3 passengers and a small outboard up to 5hp. Sides are ¼” plywood and the bottom is 3/8” plywood. A trussed gunnel rail insures hull stiffness.
MARSH HEN offers seaworthy and seakindly performance, good speeds with modest horsepower, and handsome looks. Her plywood construction is more accessible to amateur builders.
