The MAC 75 wa is a fast fishing boat easy to build.

The design of Sportfish 570 comes from a collaboration with a Senegalese society, with the aim of creating fishing vessels for inland waters of modern conception.

Buckley Yacht Design have increased the size of the kit boat which is on offer. This 39′ Catamaran is the largest kit boat in the portfolio.

ROBERTS 470 - WOOD EPOXY
The accommodation of this design has been laid out to suit two couples. The Roberts 470 makes a fine long distance cruising yacht.

The Northeaster Dory is small enough to be rowed singly, but big enough for tandem rowing with two adults. Even four adults have comfortable seating. Performance rowers may add a sliding seat.

Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames.
Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip.
Lofting is required.

Construction — Glued lapstrake clinker plywood. Alternative construction —Traditional plank, cold molded and strip plank. No Lofting required. Plans include 7 sheets with instructions. Sail Area — Lug 65 sq. ft. Sloop 84 sq. ft. Yawl 81 sq. ft.

With her 28″ beam, substantial flare, and sweetly shaped ends, she loves rough water. Her plywood hull is one of the prettiest we’ve seen.Construction: Plywood over web frames. Lofting is required.Plans include 4 sheets.

My client wanted to circumnavigate, Cape Horn and all!  He wished to build the boat himself and had limited skills in boatbuilding, limits on his budget, and a space about the size of a double garage.
