Shoal-draft ocean voyager

This design came about when I got to thinking about having an elegant dinghy for our 34′ Topsail Ketch Sunrise.

You think : I’d sure like to have a little harbor skiff to scoot around in the harbor/lake/river. And building a boat looks like fun, but I’ve never done it before; Not sure if I’m up to it.

An easily built ,attractive, plywood pirogue/canoe.

A roomy, comfortable auxiliary cruiser with sufficient headroom, two cabins and an enclosed head.

Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames

Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip

Lofting is required
