This is a design for the 2.4mR class. The measurement formula is the same as for the bigger sisters like the famous 12mR yachts once used for the Americas Cup. As the down-scaling would leave the boat with to little righting moment there has been some adjustments to take care of this.
This exquisite launch leaves little wake at five knots. Her plans show both cold-molded and plank-on-frame construction. Construction: Cold-Molded or Carvel planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Lapstrake. Lofting is required. Plans include 5 sheets.

The Boat BW is a trailerable plywood stitch-and-glue skiff. The outboard-powered modified-vee hull with lifting strakes provides an efficient hull that rises on to plane with little-to-no porpoising. The below-deck bulkheaded and sealed compartments provide superb secondary flotation.
