A 15' x 26" recreational/light touring kayak.

These completely new designs were developed at CLC in response to a growing constituency of skilled paddlers seeking waterborne sports cars for racing, exercise, or just plain fun.

Spring Lake Small Craft can provide a very complete CNC routed kit for the Pippie 8 tender. Designed by Mike Waller (http://www.wallerdesign.com.au) to be used as a very versatile tender.

The i550 is a very popular 18 foot stitch and glue design. Simple construction and avid builder blogs and websites add a sense of community and support for the builder.

A roomy, comfortable auxiliary cruiser with sufficient headroom, two cabins and an enclosed head.

Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames

Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip

An easy-to-build boat designed to ship as a kit in a flat pack box. Everything needed to complete the boat, except the motor, is included in the kit.

Tom Cat is a shoal draft catboat of plank-on-frame construction, but strip construction would do as well.

Austral’s design is an outgrowth of my 26' Wynfall design, intended to provide additional space below decks, including standing headroom. She is slightly heavier, longer and wider, and has more freeboard than her smaller sister.

Sea Otter was designed for an adult night school class I was teaching in boat building, in which nine boats were built at one time. Actually the principles of construction used in Sea Otter are the same as used in many of our larger designs.

Developed in response to requests from heavier and wider paddlers who also wanted a shorter boat, this stable load carrier is excellent for the novice kayaker.
