SHADOW of Gig Harbor, Wa USA. Maiden voyage April 14th, 2024. For his 3rd wooden boat build Stewart Nelson chose the SQUIRT, a Glen L. Design. The 10′ craft is outfitted with a 15hp outboard motor.
1928 Herreshoff 12 1/2 (No. 1084, Alouette) in excellent condition. Fully restored by IYRS in 2007. Sailed and maintained annually by current owner.
16’ Swampscott Dory - Northern white cedar on white oak frames, sheer strake, rails, thwarts, sheets, and centerboard trunk finished bright in Honduran mahogany. West system and bronze fittings.

The Town Class Sloop was originally designed in 1931 and built by Pert Lowell Company in Newbury, MA. The original construction consisted of lap-strake cedar planking on oak frames. The Landing School builds these boats with epoxy-bonded marine plywood and epoxy-laminated frames.
