SILVER HEELS is the well-known Coaster-type schooner who was on the cover of the first issue of WoodenBoat magazine (then called, THE WOODENBOAT).
In 1963 she benefited from Murray Peterson's drawings and Malcolm Brewer's craftsmanship in Camden, Maine.

I aquired Maverick in November of 2023 for $1. She was christened "Maverick" at her launch in 1962, renamed by her last owners to "Pomare", and I officially renamed her "Maverick" when the documentation transfer was conducted with USCG.
