Plastic Frames for Wooden Boats—Part 2

Frames are in, now the deck

Frames are in.

When water damage caused the old covering board to pull away from the ceiling, FINAST KIND II needed not only a new covering board and ceiling, but a few dozen new frames, several new planks, new deck drains and replacement of some of her 1½″ Douglas-fir decking. Now the plastic frames are all in, the ceiling and covering board are installed, and it's time to focus on the deck, and Louis Sauzedde takes us through the rest of the job. Part of WoodenBoat's Master Shipwrights video series.
