COLLEEN WAGNER

COLLEEN WAGNER is the name of this lovely 28' sharpie built by the Marine Carpentry Class at the Wood Construction Center of Seattle Central Community College. Colleen Wagner is also the name of the wife of Dick Wagner, founding director of the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle, where the sharpie will reside. The museum will use the boat for sail training as part of its Castaway sailing program and to provide free rides to the general public at the museum. The plans are by Ralph Munroe, created in 1886, and are available from WB - plan no. 42. Check out their website at www.woodsconstructioncenter.org or email Gordon Sanstad at gsanst@sccd.ctc.edu.
