This 7'10" pram/kayak was built from plans in Gavin Atkin's Ultrasimple Boatbuilding, in spring of 2011 by Stephen Nickles, and launched this past June, my brave wife Christine is at the helm.
Our boat GRACE is an Iain Oughtred designed Auk tender. This boat is our first boat building project and came about when a friend experienced in boat building offered his assistance. With no woodworking experience we began with great trepidation.
Though he tells us right away that he is not a carpenter, Dave Hepler did a pretty good job on this Glen-L Runabout, LITTLE ADVENTURE. His daughter, Lauren, was his chief assitant, though her carpentry skills were not any better than his.
Fifteen-year-old Andrew Seguin built this Dynamite Payson designed work skiff between march and August 2002. It is Payson design number 606, 18' long with a 5' beam built out of plywood and mahogany.

CAPITAL GAINES is a glass over plywood boat constructed with sapele frames, meranti marine plywood, with sapele and cypress accents. It’s powered with a Yamaha 70hp outboard motor.
John Zimmerlee created the VERSATILE CAT as a stable personal craft for fishing, birdwatching, or even paintball contests. She is very stable, being constructed of polystyrene foam glued to plywood. VERSATILE CAT has a 7' length and 5' beam, with two trolling motors for propulsion.
This 15,5 foot (4,75m) vintage looking Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff, designed by Joel White is based on typical American lobster boat lines. She has flat planing sections, slightly concave bottom and tumblehome worked into the hull aft.
