Paul Riedl built the rowing version of the 9'6" Granny Pram designed by Iain Oughtred of Findhorn, Scotland. He used conventional glued-lapstrake construction using marine okoume plywood, oak, and epoxy.
This is the launch of my cutter based a design by C P Kunhardt from 1885. I trimmed the fantail off the original design and reduced the deck length from the original 17', to 14'. The finished boat will have a cutter rig and bowsprit, a single berth, a writing desk, and a small galley forward.

Kevin Moroney of Cape Coral, Florida, was building an 18′ modified sharpie skiff when his grandson, Colin, was born in Denver, Colorado, last year.
John Parrish built this Tandem Annapolis Wherry from a kit by Chesapeake Light Craft. He writes that at 19′10″, it is 3′ longer than the one-man version of the same boat, and that it was the first one that CLC put into kit form.

Reuel Kaighn named this 34' full keel sloop after his father-in-law, John Lord, a naval architect and marine engineer. JL is a James B. DeWitt one-design, built by him in 1950 in Oakland, CA. She spent nearly ten years in storage, before being restored at Shotwell Boatyard, in Nescopeck, PA.

Using Nick Schade's book, "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak," Perry Risley built this 17' x 21' Guilllemot kayak and paddle. He made both boat and paddle of ash and Western red cedar with white accents of poplar. He mentions that Michael Earle was a tremendous help to him.
