Jim Earl modified Edwin Monk's plans for this Curlew sloop by giving it a gaff rig, instead of Marconi, and carvel planking, instead of lapstrake. He found the design in Monk's book "How to Build Wooden Boats, (Dover Pub, 1992).

Ron Rosene bought this boat in the summer of 2002 and restored it over the winter. EL RAY BARQUERO. is a 21' x 7' Skillcraft Day Cruiser made by Henry Boats in Plain City, Ohio in 1968. Zimmerman Boat Works in Columbus Ohio restored all the surfaces.

Designer Iain Oughtred’s first design, a whitehall-like skiff with two rowing stations. She is 11′9″ long and 3′11″ wide and light enough to car-top. Glued lapstrake with meranti plywood planking, mahogany transom, Douglas fir backbone, thwarts and gunwales, and teak floorboards and sternsheets.

During the winter of 2002-2003, Bruce Porter built this 13'9" x 58" flat-bottomed dory with help from Madison East High School Woodworking Students and staff. Launched in May 2003, SHARK will be used on Madison Wisconsin area lakes and rivers.

David had attended a traditional boatbuilding course at Mystic Seaport, and there became smitten with Swampscott dories.

A late 1950’s International Flying Dutchman Class sailboat. The Mahogany hull was cold-moulded in Holland and imported by Paul Rimoldi of Miami Florida. Mr Rimoldi made everything else, including many pieces of hardware.

Robert Harper loves his FUGU Swift Solo that he built in 2004-2005. He remarks that she draws a lot of attention when he sails her on Great Salt Lake.

Dean Lasseter built this 16′ wood-strip canoe from plans by Bear Mountain Boats, named WARBLER by his daughter. He reports that the lines were taken by Bill Mason, drawn by Ted Moores, and faired by Steve Killing.

When Brian Clark completed a yearlong restoration of his great-grandfather's boat, HELLEN, he promptly won three awards at the 2008 Antique and Classic Boat Society's boat festival in St. Michael's, Maryland: People's Choice, Competitor's Choice, and Best-in-Class Workboat.
