Jim Hammond replaced seven frames on this 16 x56" motorboat, repaired the lower transom, refinished the motor (1958 Big Twin Evinrude) and installed a new windshield. Then he gave it a few (9) coats of varnish. Johnson Boatworks of St. Williams, Ontario, built the boat in 1957.
Craig Bjarnason spent two years part-time building his Rob Macks Panache Kayak (18'4" x 22.5" ) The hull is knotty Western red cedar covered with 6 oz fiberglass cloth and epoxy. The trim is made from local Manitoba poplar.
Brothers George and Jim Brown, built this 16' Weekender Miniature Friendship Sloop, the DOTTIE B., from plans by Stevenson Projects of Carmel, CA. George writes that the boat handles well, and they plan to use it on the numerous lakes of southern Maine.
Along with the kayak GIANNI DI BOLOGNA, Jon Raggett designed, built, and launched both of these kayaks in June 2001. These two K-1 Flatwater sprint boats are 17 feet long, 17" beam, and weigh just 18 pounds each.
NEREUS was built in 2006 by Harry Bryan Boatbuilding in Canada and designed by John Alden.This 2006 21′ Alden Sloop was sitting on the hard at The Landing School for 10 years after being donated.
WHILE AWAY is an 18′ PT Skiff, built by Bill Cavanagh on Cape Cod from a kit supplied by Port Townsend Watercraft. Built in the shop of DMC Boats in Falmouth MA, she is strong, light weight and very fuel efficient.
This sharpie was launched at Lake Wyvenhoe, Queensland, Australia. It was built by John Hockings over six months, and was inspired by Bill Schwicker's Egret and his 3 fathom sharpie.

Lary Kuhns built this 19′ drift boat, IACOBOS from plans by Jerry Estes of British Columbia. IACOBOS is very rugged, with a 1″ bottom of CVG fir, glassed inside and out. Lary uses the boat to fish the Kenai River near his home in Homer, Alaska.
