Great boat for the low water Inland tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. My wife sewed the sail from Sailrite. I was lucky to have a neighbor who had a lathe to turn the 13ft mast.

Mark Knee sent in this picture of the boat his father Daniel built. It is a Standard Fly Drift Boat which Daniel and Mark use for fishing trips on the Pere Marquette River and the Big Manistee River, trying their luck at trout, steelhead, and salmon fishing.
PERFECTO is a CLC Pocketship designed by John Harris and modified by Master Violin Maker, Scott W Hershey of Dillsburg, PA. I stretched PERFECTO by 1′ and extended the cabin and widened footwell. Building photos are on YouTube videos and are in 3 parts.
Built in Seattle in 1934 by the Blanchard Boat Company, Amazon was re-launched on July 3rd 2018. The boat has just undergone an extensive four year rebuild including a new stem, transom, decks, the replacement of several frames and planks, and a refasten.
