Lee Sandifur built KARI-SAN (15'2" x 4'10") from plans by Samuel Devlin using stitch-and-glue construction. He launched her in Olympia, WA on August 18, 2001. She carries a 13' long mast, which he built of Alaskan cedar.
"A delight to row, and fast" is how Stuart Pettingell describes his L.F. Herreshoff 17 pulling boat modified by John Gardner (found in "Building Classic Small Craft"). Stuart spent 11 months on the construction, launching the boat in July of 2001.

Markus and Angie Puskarich of Key West. FL launched this Bolger/Payson designed 18' Clam Skiff on Dec 9, 2001. They say the design is great for fishing and exploring in the Florida Keys.
Bill Walker built this semi-vee skiff starting in fall of 2014 and launching in May of 2016. After building nine other stitch and glue boats, Bill designed and built this skiff himself. It is constructed of meranti Bs-1088 plywood with select pine trim.
The Rosebud was strip-built of tamarack following the classic lines of the Columbia dinghy from WoodenBoat plans. The tamarack was harvested from two large trees on our Norwich, Vermont property in June, 2012 and construction started in late summer.
Over a pandemic winter Carl Frey built the NOELLE Q, an 8′ long, 26-pound kayak (19″ beam) from his own plans.

LOTTE was built in 1928 by Lake Union Drydock in Seattle. She was moved to Vermont in 2008 and has undergone substantial renovation including cold molding the hull from waterline to keel and is now repowered with a BMW marine diesel.
Though the design by B. N. Morris called for a 17' canoe, Mitchell Skinner shortened the design to 14' (with 33" beam)and turned it into a solo canoe, QUIET WATERS. He will be using this canoe to fly fish on the lakes of northern Maine.
