Designed by John C. Harris, this light but sturdy fishing and utility skiff—a “crab skiff,” as they’re known on the Chesapeake Bay—has been dubbed the “Peeler” after the Chesapeake slang for a local delicacy, soft-shell crabs.
LYS stands for Lumber Yard Skiff. These rugged flat bottom work skiffs were originally designed to be built using materials readily found in most lumber yards- underlayment plywood and spruce framing.
MANDOLINO is an elegant, classical seaworthy small boat that we propose in two versions, one for day-sailing and one for cruising.
Elegant, lightweight, sailing/rowing skiff. Construction: glued lapstrake plywood. Alternative construction: carvel, strip. No lofting is required. Plans include 6 sheets and instruction booklet.
Athey is a 15' open water recreational rower for one or two based on a lines sketch by N. G. Herreshoff. Built from 4, 6 and 9mm glued lapstrake plywood, she weighs just 65 pounds and is cartopped.
