The Start 42 is designed to sail very very fast as a 14 ft international.
Kahuna Nui is intended for extended offshore cruising and living aboard. She is available as a sailing auxiliary or as a motorsailer with an enclosed pilothouse. She has a canoe hull for ease of construction, with a full keel for strength and security while cruising.
It rows, it tows and it sails; it's a convenient 7' 9" long and easy on the eyes; and it's a wonderful kit to build, taking a novice only 40-50 hours to assemble plus a little more for finishing.
In designing Capriccio we have been inspired by the aesthetics of the classic sport runabouts of the Thirties, which had the pilot seat in the extreme aft-wards of the boat and a powerful engine under a long deck in front of them.
The 14ft PIXIE is an entry level car toppable beach cat that has proved extremely popular, with hundreds now sold worldwide. It has often been built by Scout groups or as school projects. WoodenBoat Store markets this design.
Designed for strip-planking, the Controversy 36 features light displacement and good headroom, with light and open space throughout.
Construction: Strip-planked over bulkheads and frames
Lofting is required.

“Breeze” is a 10′ (3m) double paddle canoe. Two sheets of plywood needed. Stitch and glue construction using 3″(75mm) fiberglass tape in epoxy for all seams inside and out. The deciding factors when designing the boat were mostly the same as with all my designs - seaworthiness and lightweight.
A fuel-efficient, carvel planked, displacement launch designed to be powered by a 6 to 8-hp diesel.
Comfortable for 2 people cruising or 6-8 people day running.

17' 9" glued lap strake sapele plywood with ribbon Sipo mahogany bright work.
Mahogany planked on oiled oak frames. Spruce spars and stainless rigging.
