Developed in response to requests from heavier and wider paddlers who also wanted a shorter boat, this stable load carrier is excellent for the novice kayaker.
Displacing more than 18,000 lbs, this is a big 29′ boat. She has a set of lines you can fall in love with. Construction: Carvel-planked over laminated frames. Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip. Lofting is required. Plans include 5 sheets.
This V-bottomed daysailer can be shallow or deep drafted and is easily sailed.

After numerous requests for a larger version of our “Happy Hour” fishing kayak here is the result. “Long Weekend” is not a mere scale up. Bottom is V-shaped which improves tracking and ability to handle small waves. The slightly narrower beam makes the hull fast. Stability is great.
