A versatile 4-metre open utility / runabout for river and inland lake use, built in taped-seam plywood.

Thank you for considering my plans for BOWLER, a “cruising” version of my TOP HAT launch. These boats are descended from Harry Bryan’s inspired Handy Billy design, which in turn can trace it’s origins back to William Hand's vee bottom designs from the early 20th century.

The MAC 75 wa is a fast fishing boat easy to build.

She is built of plywood and is intended for 15/20 hp outboard motors.

This design has the same nice interior space layout as Badger, with the addition of quarter berths aft. For a family of four to live aboard, as has been done on one of the sisterships, this provides good separation of the sleeping spaces.
