We designed a simple to build work boat with a vee-hull based on a proven work boat type, the Panga.
Chesapeake Light Craft’s Eastport Nesting Pram shares its hull with the popular stock Eastport Pram dinghy, a champion 7′9″ yacht tender that can carry a decent load, rows and tows with ease, and sails beautifully.

Silver Thread is a replica of a Cornish lug and mizzen used in the inshore fishing and as tender to larger vessels within harbors. The original boat, Summer Haze, was built in Padstow around 1908.
The project, despite its small size, develops a discrete internal volume allowing to nr. 4 crew members to spend short cruises with good speed and pleasant navigation.The hull lines and the deck are to corner for simplicity of construction, and are harmonized with the hull volume.
