No lofting required.

Designed as a cat schooner; both sails have big round poles at their leading edges. Considering the performance potential of this hull, this rig is appropriate. The stayless rig is clean and will be cheap to build with solid fir poles.

This design has the same nice interior space layout as Badger, with the addition of quarter berths aft. For a family of four to live aboard, as has been done on one of the sisterships, this provides good separation of the sleeping spaces.

20' expedition size, double kayak, accommodates big people with big feet in an efficiently paddled hull.
