Gaff-rigged catboat. 12'9" LOA. 6' beam. Custom-designed and built. Nantucket in 2011. Cedar on white oak. Includes trailer spars, sails, 2-hp electric outboard, battery, bilge pump. Well-built; sound condition. Needs cosmetic refresh. Photo taken on launch day 2011.
Beautiful boat once restored (2016) Unfortunately neglected since. Sails like a dream when in its prime. Epoxy bottom sound, needs work above waterline. Has rebuilt running diesel motor. Sleeps 4-6. True piece of history. Call for more info.
Hull #27 of the Grand Banks 36, and as best we can determine, the first twin-engine 36 ever built. Mahogany carvel planking on oak frames. Teak-planked decks. Built by American Marine Ltd., Hong Kong, 1965.
19.5' Teak planked and deadwood. Copper riveted. Hull is tight, sound and pretty. Decks, cabin top and coming in epoxy covered plywood. Original Volvo Penta MD1 engine. Sail and spars in fine condition. Cheoy Lee fittings and hardware are unique.
