Honey was launched a few days before Christmas 2023. She is a stout 13 foot skiff designed and built for the Westport River. She's built of local materials. All of her hardware and fasteners are from C.E. Beckman's of New Bedford and all of her paint is from Kirby's.
The CAT'S MEOW is a replica of a 1949 Chris Craft Racer runabout, built by Leroy J. Lester. He spent about 2000 hours over 3 years constructing the boat in his extended garage. THE CAT'S MEOW is 18'3" long with beam just over 6', and uses a Crusader Marine V-6 175 hp engine.
My boat is a “couch boat” which is the only description I could think of since I designed it for comfortable seating and aesthetic Italian curvy lines.
I started designing her in June of 2008. I had to put her up each fall to work on Christmas presents among other projects, but launched her this past weekend.
Though the design by B. N. Morris called for a 17' canoe, Mitchell Skinner shortened the design to 14' (with 33" beam)and turned it into a solo canoe, QUIET WATERS. He will be using this canoe to fly fish on the lakes of northern Maine.
PERFECTO is a CLC Pocketship designed by John Harris and modified by Master Violin Maker, Scott W Hershey of Dillsburg, PA. I stretched PERFECTO by 1′ and extended the cabin and widened footwell. Building photos are on YouTube videos and are in 3 parts.

Doyle Herman started restoration of this 15' Wagemaker in September of 2001. He launched it in May 2002. He stripped the boat to a bare hull, replaced the deck plywood and part of the transom. Wolverine Boats of Grand Rapids, MI built the boat in 1957.
