Richard Albert built this 14' pulling boat SECOND SNAKE designed by Henry Rushton (Model 109 Pulling Boat of 1884), launch ing it on August 9, 2004. He uses it on the Delaware and Raritan Canal in New Jersey, and the Delaware River.

Raymond Wright used stitch-and-glue construction with African mahogany plywood in building this CLC 17 kayak. He also included a retractable skeg, and designed the spruce paddle. He launched the kayak on Schroon Lake on Aug 30, 2002. Write Ray at P.O. Box 62, Adirondack, NY 12808.

Launched in July 2002, David Jost built this sprit-rigged micro-cat-ketch from plans by Phil Bolger and Friends. He built FIREFLY using bronze-fastened marine plywood covered with 6 oz fiberglass set in epoxy.

Ron Breault built this boat to use as a tender to MARIONETTE, hence the name ’TEER. Though he launched her “in the last century” his enthusiasm for ’TEER has not waned and he showed her at the 2009 WoodenBoat Show, where she looked just gorgeous.

John Noon built this 30′6″ Crocker Gull with Joe Taylor at the shop of Gordon (Swifty) Swift in Kensington NH for Carrie Hollingsworth of York ME. Swifty, a legendary boat builder was present for much of the construction but unfortunately passed away in February 2014.

Over the 2017-18 winter wooden boat enthusiast and craftsman Fred Kircheis worked with his niece, Tyler Kidder, to build her a Shellback dinghy with sailing rig in his home woodworking shop in central Maine.

SHADOW of Gig Harbor, Wa USA. Maiden voyage April 14th, 2024. For his 3rd wooden boat build Stewart Nelson chose the SQUIRT, a Glen L. Design. The 10′ craft is outfitted with a 15hp outboard motor.
