MILL CREEK 13 KAYAKS
John and Barbara Strattan built these kayaks in 2003. They are Mill Creek 13 kayaks, designed by Chris Kulczyki of CLC. They use the pair on the streams and rivers of north central Kentucky.
GRIETJE
Joli Boat Philip Thiel GRIETJE launched in The Netherlands at 4th of April 2020. Recently received propulsion and steering system. Now on her first holiday.
Tiger Shark
Tiger Shark was built by Community Boat Building 5th graders from the Harvard-Kent School in Boston. They launched it this summer along with 11 other Periwinkles built by their classmates.
KIWI II
KIWI II is a development of New Zealander Richard Hartley’s Trailer Sailer 21 design. This boat was started as a retirement project by Kennith Tycer. Howard Berg purchased the unfinished boat in 1995 and with the permission of the designer added a bowsprit to improve its windward performance.
Freedom
Freedom is a Jim Michalak designed trimaran. Built with the stitch and glue method.
CLARK CRAFT PRAM
James Ford of the Madison School District in Madison, NY, wrote to announce two launchings by their high school technology class, an 8' pram and a 16' canoe. Clark Craft of Tonawanda, NY, designed the pram, while the canoe is a John Scalzo design.
CEPHEID
Tom Diehl launched CEPHEID on August 29, 2001 on Shabonna Lake in central Illinois. CEPHEID is an Arch Davis Sand Dollar design, 12' long. Tom built her of Okoume plywood, ash, oak, and mahogany, finished with epoxy. The spars are Sitka spruce.
Pacific Power Dory
Fiberglass cloth/epoxy and marine plywood on pine frame powered by 30hp Suzuki. During construction of interior we added mahogany rail caps and a front anchor locker with seat and hardware.
